Castell d’Or
Castell d’Or is a union of 16 cooperative wine-elaborating cellars from Catalonia. The winery is specializing in elaborating cava and other sparkling wines, but also produces still wines from different appellations of Catalonia. It represents 2200 farmer families who work more than 6000 ha of vines. Castell d’Or produces wine only from the grapes grown by cooperative members. Wine is born in the field, so the wine maker controls the process from the very beginning.
Furthermore, having vineyards in different climatic zones allowed Castell d’O to plant each grape variety in the most suitable conditions to get the best possible result. It is a sustainable winery with a part of its vineyards having an organic certificate and this part is growing every year. All products are certified vegan
